Obituary for Bertha J. Brenick (Iwaniec)

Bertha J. (Iwaniec) Brenick, 95, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late George Brenick died, Wednesday (March 19, 2014) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. She was born in Oswego, NY and lived and attended school in Wilbraham and Springfield, MA and lived most of her life in Enfield. She retired from the Postal Service in 1980 after 21 years. She leaves a nephew, Thomas Wlazlo of Enfield, a niece, Dorothy Soroka of Chesapeake, VA and a niece, Barbara Morell of Tallahassee, FL. Also nieces, Margaret Golas of Enfield, Helen Crossley of Waterford and nephew, John Labis of Enfield and ten grandnieces and nephews and many great grandnieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield. Burial will be held privately at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Springfield, MA. Leete-Stevens Chapels, Enfield has care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
