Janet A.  Baker (Ialieb)
Janet Ann (Islieb) Baker, 81, of Enfield, entered into eternal peace Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford. The daughter of the late Clinton and Mary (Kowalski) Islieb, Janet was born in Glastonbury, CT and had lived in Enfield most of her life. She was retired from Westvaco in Enfield in 1998 having been with the company for over 10 years. In her free time, she enjoyed Bingo as well as watching figure skating on TV. She is survived by 12 children, David Therrien Jr., Robert Therrien, Sherry Therrien, Gerard Therrien, RosemaryTherrien, Janet Montminy-Eligio (Salvatore), Frank Therrien, Paul Therrien, Ronald Baker, Rhonda Lee Lachniet (Jason), Jesse Baker (Brenda), Anita Vetro (Salvatore), six sisters, Mae, Madelyn, Gloria, Marjorie, Carol, and Kay; and many grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by widow of David Therrien and her second husband, Ronald E. Baker; a son Claude Therrien, two brothers, Clinton and Charles Islieb, and a sister, Nancy Tallman. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Funeral services and burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
