Shirley M.  Bousquet
Shirley M. Bousquet, 81, of Enfield, beloved wife of Delphis "Del" Bousquet for 60 wonderful years, entered into eternal peace Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Evergreen Healthcare in Stafford. Born November 11, 1934 in Canton, MA, Shirley was the daughter of the late James and Irene (Wilcox) Tracy. She was raised in Worcester, MA and had lived in Enfield since 1963, where she and Del raised their family. Her life was devoted to her family and faith. She was a charter parishioner of Holy Family Church where she was a member of the church's Women's Guild. She was a proud Girl Scout Leader for many years and was very generous in devoting her time to her children's interests and activities. A very dedicated employee, Shirley was retired from Sweet Life Foods, where she had worked for 25 years. In her free time she enjoyed traveling with Del. Her most precious time was that spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her husband Del, Shirley is survived by three daughters, Sue Reese and her husband Glenn, Cathy Davidson and her husband Bruce, and Deb Lombard and her husband Bob; two sisters, Dorothy Gabree and her husband Richard of South Yarmouth, MA, and Barbara Morton and her husband Louis of Douglas, MA; five grandchildren, Tyler and Spencer Reese, Laurabeth and Brian Davidson, and Kathleen Heiden. Shirley was predeceased by a brother, James Tracy. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2016at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. The funeral procession will form Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Leete-Stevens for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. Committal will follow at St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery. Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Enfield Adult Day Center, 1A Beech Rd., Enfield, CT 06082.
