Michael A. Zukowski, 75, of Somers, beloved husband of thirty years to Patricia (Lupacchino) Zukowski passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 2, 1941, in Springfield, MA the son of the late Henry and Bernice (Szoka) Zukowski. He was a resident of Somers for 44 years. Michael was employed by Mead West Vaco for 25 years retiring in 2006. He was an avid hunter, fisher, and golfer. In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by a son Scott Zukowski and his wife Mara of Somers; two grandchildren, Anthony and Samantha Zukowski of Somers. He was predeceased by two brothers Henry and Ronnie Zukowski. All services will be held privately. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Visiting Nurses of Vernon for the care they gave Michael.
