Barbara J. (Clark) Gaskell, 68, of Enfield, CT was the loving wife of 28 years to Stanley Gaskell passed away on Thursday, August, 4, 2016, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. Barbara was born February 3, 1948, and raised in Pittsfield, and has lived in Enfield for the past 12 years. She was employed as an accountant with Waldbaum's Supermarket and retired from Food Mart. Barbara was an avid reader and she enjoyed arts and crafts, playing cards and having tag sales, but cherished her many trips to Cape Cod with her family. In addition to her husband she is also survived by a daughter, Tamsen Gaskell and her fiancé Tim Maynard of East Longmeadow; two step children, Anna-Lynn Mileskie and her husband, Tony; Charles Gaskell all of Westfield, MA; two grandchildren, Thomas Coppola and Alayna Mileskie. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, John A. Clark, Myrtle L. (Rogers) and her step-father, John Pippa. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, c/o Neuro-Oncology Dept. ,450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
