Joel V. Gemme, 38, of Enfield, CT passed away unexpectedly from the results of an automobile accident on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Joel was born March 12, 1978, in Hartford, CT the loving son of Debbie (Stanizzi) Gemme of Enfield and the late Joseph C. Gemme. Joel attended local schools in Enfield and was currently employed as a truck driver for Atlantic Woodcraft in Enfield. Joel was also employed with Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness in Enfield as a spinning instructor and group fitness instructor which was a passion not a job. He was an avid outdoors man and fisherman and loved spending time with his family especially his three beloved children. In addition to his mother, Debbie he is also survived by his three children, Joseph Daniel Cyr-Gemme, Joshua James Gemme and Hailey Louisette Gemme; the mother of his children, Christa Gemme; his two sisters, Jessie Rossi and her husband, Aaron of Windsor Locks and Jennifer Gemme of Manchester; his three nephews, Justen Gemme, Cory Williams, and Dallas Davis; his girlfriend, Jennifer Willett and his four legged best friend, Tyson and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, from 4 pm to 7pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service will follow the visiting hours at 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
