Francis J. Kulas, 75, lifelong resident of Windsor Locks, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Hartford, CT on November 1, 1940, a son of the late Walter and Cecelia (Majewski) Kulas. Francis is survived by his seven siblings, Chester Kulas and his wife Kathleen of NJ, Robert Kulas and his wife Kathleen of Suffield, Florence Lesniak of Windsor Locks, Dolores Gracewski and her husband Edward of Southwick, Lorraine Spulick of Killingworth, Joanne Kulas of Ellington, Patricia Humiston of West Suffield; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, three brothers, Walter, Edward, and Anthony Kulas, and a stepsister, Mary Kozaczuk. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Poquonock. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Locks Fire Department, 4 Volunteer Drive, Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
