Condolence: So saddened to hear of Gloria's passing. I have missed our Sawtelle/Rendock Christmas get togethers and how we would all try to get that lucky number so we could claim one of Gloria's pieces of art as our present. I am lucky to have two that I display in my home. Last night I looked at them fondly and am so thankful to have them. What a wonderful lady and I'm thankful for the memories.

Condolence: Mrs. Sawtelle was the most patient teacher I have ever known. It's difficult enough being a teacher, and in an all girls Catholic High School with "know it all" teenaged girls, but when you have a student who is most definitely not math oriented . . . that could try anyone's patience. Mrs. Sawtelle was kind, patient, funny, and yes stern. I will always remember her as one of my favorite teachers, even if I didn't know it or show it at the time. My prayers are with your family. May she now rest in the arms of Jesus as He welcomes her home.

Condolence: Lawrence, Dave, Rich and families,
I am deeply saddened at the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. As her niece, I have so many fond memories of what a special woman she was - smart, talented and a lot of fun to be around. And she was a great cook, too!
Whenever I was with Aunt Gloria, talk always turned to books and authors as we were both avid readers. I also remember our families being up in Maine at the same time for summer vacation and all the fun we had.
I know the last few years have been difficult, but you took excellent care of your mom.
She will be missed....
