Gae was born September 3, 1928, in Enfield, CT the daughter of the late Nicholas and Antonina (Zito) Santa Croce. She loved the holidays especially, Christmas where she spent countless hours baking her 35 varieties of cookies to be distributed to family and friends. Gae will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who gave tirelessly of herself to help others. She had the loving ability to make others feel loved especially with her coined phrase “You have a beautiful smile.” She is survived by her two children, Sharon Fredericks and her husband, Robert of Enfield and Mark Colombi and his wife, Laura of Southwick, MA; three loving grandchildren, Liana Colombi of East Hartford; Kristen Massetti of Enfield and Christopher Fredericks and his wife, Kari of Enfield; her beloved great-grandson, Mario Colombi; two sisters, Marian Bridge of Enfield and Rita Purdy of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
