Cecile M. "Mrs. Johnny"  Swols (Trepanier)
Cecile M. "Mrs. Johnny" Swols, 89, of Enfield, wife of the late John J. Swols (2001), entered into eternal peace Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home. Born and raised in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Rock and Olympe´ Trepanier. She graduated from Cathedral High School and later married her husband John on May 7, 1949. She owned and operated Johnny's Roadside Market Garden in Enfield with her husband. She developed a faithful following of wonderful customers and friends. A very hard working woman, Cecile was dedicated to her family's farm. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Phillips and her husband Michael, and Lorraine Latkofsky all of Enfield; a brother, George Trepanier and his wife Sheila of Chicago, IL; a sister, Jeannette Knowlton of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Justin Latkofsky and his wife Ashley, Jake, and Ryan Latkofsky all of Enfield; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Cecile was predeceased by a brother, Robert Trepanier and a sister, Theresa Trepanier. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Leete-Stevens for a procession to St. Adalbert Church, 90 Alden Ave., Enfield, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery. Donations in Cecile's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn., 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
