Anthony M. Smith, 29, of Enfield, CT passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Anthony was born January 15, 1988, in Las Vegas, NV. He attended local schools in Enfield and was a graduate of Enfield High School Class of 2006. After high school Anthony attended the Suffield Culinary Institute from which he graduated with high honors and completed an externship at the Italian Culinary Institute For Foreigners in Italy. Anthony was employed with the Department of Corrections at Osborn Correctional Institute as Food Supervisor. One of Anthony's passions were drawing. He is survived by his mother, Laura Lee Smith of Jonesville, South Carolina; his brother, Levi Smith of Enfield and many friends and co-workers at the DOC. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A celebration of life service for Anthony will be begin at 4 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
