The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alida Barbieri can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Ed and Phyllis Ertel
Condolence: Phyllis and I would like to offer condolences to Mark, Alida, and the rest of the family. We were frequent visitors to Jane and Ted back in the 70s, and remember Jane as always so warm and welcoming, always willing to share a cup of hot tea and some bakery item as we sat by the window in the kitchen looking out at the birds and field, and chatted. For us, a younger couple, she was always the model of a gracious and kind hostess. We speak of her often.

Condolence From: Elizabeth Isaac
Condolence: Condolences, Alida, Mark, and family. I have such fond memories of your mother and father from when I was a little girl, visiting the bakery in town or their lovely home in Somers, and through all my years growing up in Windsor Locks. They were both so warm and welcoming, and Mom and Jane were good friends through bad and good times. Blessings on you all.

Condolence: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uniformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Thanks be to our Heavenly father
