Terrance “Terry” Chase, Jr., 31, of Ashford passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, in his home. Terry was born October 22, 1985, in Manchester, CT son of Sharon Sieber and Terrance "Terry" Chase, Sr. He graduated from Windham Regional Technical Vocational School in Willimantic, Terry enjoyed his work as an electrician. He loved fishing and teaching the neighborhood children how to fish. He was often found out in his canoe on Lake Chaffee. He would ring a bell and the snapping turtles would gather around waiting for Terry to feed them pickerel. Terry leaves his parents Sharon and Terrance as well as his beloved sister Desiree Chase. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Sieber of Tolland; his paternal grandparents, Jim and Brenda Chase of Stafford Springs; aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Tuesday, August, 29, 2017, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., (Route 190) Somers. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
