Natalie A.  Porter (Porter)
Natalie A. Porter, 86, of Suffield, entered into eternal peace Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Suffield House. The daughter of the late Herbert and Ethel (Leighton) Porter, Natalie was born in Bourne, MA and raised in Monument Beach on Cape Cod. She lived in Broad Brook for 15 years before moving to Suffield. She was a very active member of Wesley United Methodist Church serving as a Lay Speaker as well as being instrumental in starting Pauline's Stock Pot Kitchen at the church. She was an accomplished and award winning Crocheter. She will be missed by her four children, Andrew Venn and his wife Marian of Enfield, Stephanie Stenson and her husband Mark of Boca Raton, FL, Wendy Cerrato and her husband Michael, and Melissa LaBelle and her husband John all of Broad Brook. She also leaves six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several special nieces and nephews, and her former husband Edward Venn of North Windham, CT. She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Porter, four sisters, Eleanor Dainty, Laurel Ducharme, Shirley Washburn, and Judith O'Rourke. Services and burial are private.
