Nancy Ann Girouard, 74, of Somers, beloved wife of Henry Girouard for 54 years, entered into eternal peace Sunday, December 3, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. The daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Violette) Littlefield, Nancy was born and raised in Old Town, ME. She lived in Enfield for 20 years before moving to Somers where's she's resided for the past 10 years. She was a parishioner at St. Bernard Church. Nancy was employed for several retail clothing stores including G.Fox, Cohoes, JC Penney, and Marshalls spanning 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren, shopping trips with her daughter, as well as visiting her favorite beaches in New Hampshire and Maine.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Corinna Girouard and David Girouard and his wife Justina all of Enfield, two grandchildren, Joseph and Julianna Girouard, a sister, Linda McHugh and her husband Robert of Mt. Dora, FL, two brothers, Larry Littlefield and his wife Valerie of Orrington, ME, Alan Littlefield and his wife Gloria of Standish, ME, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT.
