Robert W.  Schwarz
Robert W. Schwarz, 57, of Enfield, loving husband to Carol (Stroiney) Schwarz entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. Robert was born May 21, 1960, in Hartford, CT the son of the late Robert C. and Barbara (LaBree) Schwarz. Robert retired from the MDC after 30 years as Senior Maintenance Mechanic. He was a former member of the Polish American Club in Windsor Locks. Robert enjoyed going to the beach with his family and friends and vacationing in Maine. He enjoyed taking his Harley for ride and listening to classic rock. In addition to his beloved wife, Carol to whom he was married 18 years he is also survived by a daughter, Lindsey Engelke and her husband, David of Enfield; three sons, Kyle DiCristofaro and Ryan Schwarz of Windsor Locks and Tyler Schwarz of Suffield; a brother, Chris Schwarz of Stafford; two sisters, ShawnMarie Hubbard and her husband, Richard of Winter Garden, FL and Vicki Estey and her husband, Jim of Newcastle, ME; his two grandchildren, Emma and Brayden Engelke whom loved their "Bampie"; his nephews and nieces, Bobby Hubbard, Melanie Sprafke and husband, Kevin, Heather Marshall and husband, Todd, Richard Hubbard and wife, Sarah and several great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Robert is also survived by his cat Gizmo and dog Sammie. Per Robert's wishes there are no calling hours and funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
