Marion June Rancourt, 95, beloved wife of the late Stanley W. Rancourt (1996), entered into eternal peace with her family by her side Tuesday Feb. 13, 2018 at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI. The daughter of the late Anthony and Ellen (Nordberg) Montana, Marion was born and raised in Hartford. She lived in Somers for 50 years before moving to Suffield and then later moving to Wakefield, RI. She was a former parishioner at All Saints Church in Somersville where she was active in the Women's Guild, and later was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Suffield. She was a devoted volunteer at Parkway Pavilion for 20 years. Marion enjoyed cooking and baking, as well as crocheting and knitting. She is survived by her three children, Francine Morin and her husband Richard, Judith Tiberio and her husband David all of Narragansett, RI, and David Rancourt and his wife Maureen of Suffield; six grandchildren, Emily Anderson and her husband David of Scituate, MA, Matthew Tiberio of Washington D.C., Jennifer Daddario and her husband James of Windsor Locks, Melissa Jozefiak and her husband Jason of East Hampton, CT, Laura Cascio and her husband Christopher of East Hampton, CT, Erik Perley and his wife Lauren of Killingworth, CT; and nine great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Montana. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 at Leete-Stevens for a procession to Sacred Heart Church in Suffield for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at Somers Center Cemetery in Somers. Donations in Marion's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 446 Mountain Rd., Suffield, CT 06078.
