Irene (Bower) Ganner, 66, of Enfield, CT entered into Eternal Rest at St. Francis Hospital on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was born on March 11, 1951 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Kenneth Lerone and Flora (Abbey) Bower. Irene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Enfield, CT. She was talented at line dancing and a true animal lover. She especially enjoyed time spent at her home, working in the yard, and family get togethers. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Ganner; and a brother, Burton Bower. She is survived by a son, Dion Ganner of Enfield, CT; two stepchildren, Ronald Ganner and his wife, Jennifer, and Dawn Horner and her husband, Gary, both of Minnesota; a brother, Karl Bower and his wife, Jill of Stafford, CT; three sisters, Patricia Agnoli and her husband, Francis of Enfield, CT, Linda Dols and her husband, Thomas of Enfield, CT, and Heidi Grooms of South Carolina; a beloved grandson, Cole; her significant other, Donald Coit of Enfield, CT; her special friend, Donna Meyer of Enfield, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her four legged best friends; China, Bentley, and Milo. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at The United Methodist Church, 41 Brainard Rd, Enfield, CT 06082.
