Obituary for Lorraine T. Iacolino (Krasinski)

Lorraine (Krasinski) Iacolino, 92, of Agawam, MA, wife of the late Charles Iacolino, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 31 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Daughter of the late Benjamin Krasinski and Mary (Lonesky) Krasinski, she grew up in the Somersville community and was a parishioner of All Saints Church. Lorraine was employed at the Somersville Post Office, where she worked as a clerk for over 20 years. She was a loving and devoted mother, and her family was the focus of her livelihood. Lorraine especially enjoyed the time spent with her great-granddaughter, Megan, who was the light of her life. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte and son in law Kenneth Heal of East Longmeadow, MA; two grandchildren, Carrie Johnson and her husband Matt, and Christopher Heal; her great granddaughter, Megan Johnson, and her brother, Benjamin Krasinski, Jr. In addition to her husband, Charles, she was predeceased by her brother William Krasinski, and her sister Margaret Muratore. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Heritage Woods for the attention and care given to Lorraine during her ten years there. Lorraine’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Somers Funeral Home on Friday, April 6 from 4 to 7pm. A funeral procession will gather on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 9 am at the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am at All Saints Church, 25 School St, Somersville. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Enfield.
