Dear Barber family:

I wish to convey my sincerest condolences to your entire family. Losing a loved one in death is one of the hardest things that anyone will ever have to deal with. There is a great hope held out to us for the future because God promises to bring those we lost back to life by means of a resurrection to a paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more. For the short time I did get to know Claire, she was genuinely a kind and gentle soul. May you take comfort in the many happy and wonderful times you had with her. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time.

Dear Bill,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of the wonderful Claire. I was a student at Bay Path from 1968-1970, and my work study job was in her Registrar's office. I loved working for and with her, and we developed a fast friendship. We went out to dinner together on several occasions, and she even paid a visit to my family and me in Stockbridge, MA. She was a remarkable lady who will be sorely missed.
