Condolence: So sorry to hear about Tommy, he was a joyful person for sure, and he also helped put a smile on my Dad's face when he was in the nursing home after he broke his hip. My Dad loved seeing him. His parents and mine were good friends. Thinking about your family during this difficult time and keeping you in my prayers.

Condolence: Karen and I want to express our deepest sympathies to the whole family. We wish we could be there to express our thoughts in person but, we are in Germany right now on a Rhine River Cruise. We lit a candle and prayed for Tom when we visited the Cathedral in Cologne, Germany. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: To have known Tommy as a brother and a member of our family for over 45 years has been much more than a pleasure, it's been an absolute privilege. Someone like Tommy comes along once in a lifetime, and if you're very, very fortunate, you all bond together closely, and your life, and that of your entire family, changes greatly for the better because of it. Words fail me to try to express our sorrow and pain at the untimely loss of our brother Tommy, but I'll try to express the sense of our loss in the words of someone a bit more eloquent than I:

"I've been looking out for answers
I think frankly there are none
There is honor love and family
And work left to be done
And when I listen to the whinners
Who say this world has gone to he__,
I can smile and disagree
Because I've known you well."
-Livingston Taylor

God bless and keep you Tommy; know that you are loved and missed severely by us all. Your life has served as both a role model and an inspiration to all of us that have been fortunate enough to have known you well. The world is indeed a much poorer place with the advent of your passing.

Much love and affection,
The McCarthy, Hanson and Worsfold families.

Condolence: You may have known him as Tom but I know him as “TG”. A couple of decades ago TG had left Enfield for Arizona, I believe, and was gone for a couple of years. When he came back, he came to visit me at my Webb Street house in Windsor Locks. When he showed up at the door I opened it and said “Hey TG, come on in.”. He said “That’s you Val, I can be gone for years and when I show up, it’s like I never left.”. And that’s because he left physically, he never leaves my thoughts, and so he is always there. A truly caring, loving and the perfect example of a high-spirited person.
Do you know why TG got into physical therapy? Because of his leg. I will never forget the cast he had to wear, I was one of the ones to sign my name on it.
My heart goes out to you Cathy, and the rest of his family.

Condolence: Words can not begin to express my sincere devastation as well as sympathy’ for all Toms family and friends in the wake of his passing. In making his rounds at Keystone Commons in Ludlow I grew to know Tom through his thoughtful and funny nature always bringing a smile and laugh to so many. I’ll never forget the sunshine he brought everywhere he went. His jokes, his random visits and phone calls to the facility just in passing by and thinking to say hello. The support and encouragement he brought to my life through the milestones of marriage and children always inspiring me through the stories and love he had for his own life. Tom always expressed the irreplaceable friendship and love he had with his wife and the endless love he had for his children. On May 17th my husband and I welcomed our first child, when I last saw Tom in January he encouraged me to plant a tree for the baby and watch it grow along with her through the years in the same tradition he built with his own family. He was also so excited to share the news of his latest invention seeking the help of my husband who’s an engineer in obtaining magnets strong enough for the job he had ahead of him for a successful outcome. I’ll never forget the inspiration and the heart Tom had for life and others in the countless memories I will always cherish. He truly touched my life as I know he did so many. I am so incredibly sorry for such a great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.

Condolence: I have known Tom for many years! Him and I worked together at Willimansett Nursing Home and even beyond that we would bump into each other! We would often converse and share how each of our families were doing! He was fun and a joy to be around. I am very saddened about this loss to the world. Every person, patient, worker has been touched by the life of Tom.
