Carol A. Smith, 53, of Bloomfield, CT entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital. Carol was born May 30, 1965, in Bloomfield, CT the daughter of Judy (Cusick) Smith of Bloomfield and the late Ronald Smith, Sr. She began working in the insurance industry with Lincoln Financial and later with CIGNA. Carol enjoyed walking and going to the Travelers Tournament where she volunteered as a Marshall. In addition to her mother, she is also survived by two brothers, David Smith of Bristol and Michael Smith of Bloomfield and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. In addition to her father she was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald E. Smith, Jr. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service celebrating Carol's life will be held at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery in Enfield.
