Obituary for Paul N. Labossiere

Paul N. Labossiere, 78, of Somers, beloved husband of Elke (Starecky) Labossiere for 49 years, passed away peacefully, Monday, Sept. 10, 2018 at Parkway Pavilion. The son of the late Normand and Pauline (Dufault) Labossiere, Paul was born and raised in Putnam, CT. Paul served his country honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of the Buck-Dubiel Post #101 American Legion in Somers. He was employed by Hartford Hospital for 25 years in the Clinical Chemistry Dept. and later became an IT Project Manager before retiring. In his free time, Paul enjoyed woodworking, a hobby he was passionate about. Besides his wife, Paul is survived by a daughter, Tracey Ybarrondo of Hawaii, a son, Dean Labossiere and his wife Jamie of Leland, NC, three grandchildren, Paul Ybarrondo, and, Aubrey and Andrew Allen, a brother, David Labossiere and his wife Fran of Tuscon, AZ. He also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother John Labossiere, Sr. Services are private and burial will be held at the family's convenience.
