Obituary for Barbara Armstrong (Maholik)

Barbara Armstrong (Maholik), 56, of Enfield, CT loving wife of Thomas Armstrong passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018, while living abroad in Lampang, Thailand. Barbara was born October 8, 1961, in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of Clare Maholik (DeLowery) of Glen Mills, PA and the late Joseph Maholik. Her greatest joy was her family - her adoring husband Thomas, to whom she was married for 37 years and her four daughters, Aubrey Armstrong, Deidre Steward her husband Kevin, Brianna Licciardi her husband Jonathan, and Bevon Armstrong; her loving grandchildren, Daemian deBidart, Gabriel Barry, Elijah Archer, Kylee Steward, and Eloise Licciardi; her siblings Elizabeth “Pudge” Maholik with Frank Zanin, Diane Maholik, Andrew Maholik, and her late brother, Michael Maholik. She is also survived and loved by her in-laws, her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Barbara was an accomplished Sign Language Interpreter. Barbara will forever be remembered for her love of traveling the world without fear, her desire to always protect others, her exceptional cooking skills and her passion for gardening. Barbara’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, October 6th from 10:30am – 12:30pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield.
