Maureen raised her family and lived in Enfield, CT for the last 58 years. Maureen was creative, artistic, loving and fun. She loved to decorate and became a painting enthusiast later in life. She enjoyed many hours with friends, honing her techniques at the Stroke of Color Art Studio. Her whole family will cherish the many special artworks she bestowed on each of them. Maureen was proud of the fact that she and Paul were original members of Holy Family Parish in Enfield. In addition to raising her six children, Miss Maureen made an impact on many other youngsters through her passion for teaching figure skating at Enfield Twin Rinks. She was a member of the United States Figures Skating Association and Professional Skater’s Association. Maureen also enjoyed golf and was an active member of Airways Women’s Morning Glory Golf League. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years Paul, her sister Nancy White of Worcester, MA, her brother James Casey of Harwich, MA, her children Kathy (& husband Scott), Erin, Patty (& husband Mike), Judy (& husband Morris), Betsy (& husband Max) and Tim (& wife Andrea). She adored her 10 grandchildren and “What happens at Meme’s stays at Meme’s” was her motto for Jayne, Nick, Casey, Emily, Samantha, Chloe, Kelly, Ted, Ryan and Sean. She was also blessed with 4 wonderful great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who were very special to her. The laughter and joy she brought was a treasure to anyone who was lucky enough to have known her. Due to the pandemic, all services will be private.
