Rebecca Ann "Becky" (LaPlante) Hooker, 48, of Enfield and loving wife of Edward Hooker, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 13, 2016. Becky was born April 9, 1968, in Springfield, MA the loving daughter of Ronald H. Jr. and Marilyn (Slowik)LaPlante of Chicopee, MA. She was a graduate of Chicopee Comp High School and was formerly employed with Big Y for over 20 years. Becky enjoyed painting, spending time at the beach and she found great peace listening to music. In addition to her husband, Ed she is also survived by two sons, Edward Hooker, III and Zachary Hooker both of Enfield; a brother, Ronald R. LaPlante, of Chicopee, MA; a sister, Jessica Mitchell and her husband, Sean of Monson, MA; two nephews, Jack and Logan Mitchell and her beloved four legged friend, Max. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service for Becky will be celebrated at 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
