Obituary for Everett C. Baker

Everett C. Baker, 91, of Enfield, beloved husband of Martha (Savage) Baker passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Blair Manor with his family by his side. He was born on September 3, 1924, in Fall River, MA, son of the late Wallace and Minerva (Wait) Baker. Everett was a resident of the Enfield community for sixty three years, he was a member of the Somersville Congregational Church, and was a member of the Masonic Composite Lodge 28 A.F. &A.M. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp during World War II from 1942 to 1946. He attended N. E. Aircraft School in N. Maine, Boston University, Western New England College, and then Asnuntuck College. Everett was employed for Pratt and Whitney for thirty seven years retiring in 1987. He enjoyed trains including model trains. In addition to his wife, Martha he is survived by three children, Andrew Baker and his wife Pamela of MO, David Baker of Boise, ID, and Penney Baker and her husband Alan Trudeau of Manchester, CT.
