Mavis had a fantastic memory and brillant mind. She would share her many stories with us of her experiences. There were many. She would refer to her cooking as dumping. She would put into her small pot on the burner and mix different things together. Almost always included a vegetable or two. Beleieve it or not, they were actually good. She would insist on us having a taste. We love Mavis so we would try some. Whenever we would bring her something, she was always happy and appreciative. She had everything organized in a certain way. I believe she did finish the last quilt she was making.
Mavis you are sorely missed sweet lady. I know there is a place for you in heaven. I am so glad I had the chance to spend time with you before your passing. And yes sweet lady, I did pray the rosary with you, though you couldn't complain, just lay there quietly and breathe softly. You had to know you were not passing without my prayers and my love.
Heaven has another angel. Spread your wings and soar! Love & Hugs, Denise
