Condolences

Condolence From: Guy MacKenzie
Condolence: I first met Frances three years ago when she entered Fox Hill as a resident. Our staff quickly recognized her as a woman with a giant intellect, a charming smile and sparkling eyes. I admired her ability to adapt to a difficult living situation, to maintain control of her life and to continue to make her own choices. She remained independent despite having to reside in an "institutional" setting with all it's rules and regulations. I especially admired her ability to clearly see when other resident's rights were being infringed upon and to voice her concerns. As a member of the Resident Council she was dogged in her pursuit of justice.

Personally, I looked forward to our weekly card games. She had a friendly but competitive nature that made for a spirited contest, many broad smiles and just a few mild expletives. I already miss the warmth of her friendship and the brightness of her smile.

Many staff and residents of Fox Hill feel privileged to have known Fran. We will all miss her.

ps. Every time I see someone riding a horse I think of Fran. I hope that somehow she is again outside on horseback.

Condolence: The Kim Family & Golnik Family,

We would like to extend our condolences on the passing of your Mom/Grandmother. She was indeed an interesting woman with many stories to tell. A woman after our own hearts for the love of animals. Time heals but memories stay forever. She was lucky to have such a wonderful supportive family.

Love & prayers
