Obituary for Lois J. Tetro (Nolan)

Lois J. (Nolan) Tetro, 88, of Plant City, FL wife of the late Joseph Tetro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at the Sun City Hospice House in Sun City, FL. Lois was born March 31, 1930, in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Leonard and Silvia (Hamel) Nolan. Lois lived in Windsor Locks for many years until the passing of her husband, at which time she moved to FL to be close to her son. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Metacomet VFW Post 1926 in Simsbury and a longtime member of the Farmington Valley square dancing club. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and vegetable gardens. She Is survived by her son, Dale Tetro and his wife, Barbara of Plant City, FL; her two grandchildren, Heather Tetro and Tyler Tetro and his wife, Trista; her great-grandchildren, Delilah, Brayden, Izaac, John, Dominic, and Bryonna. Lois was predeceased by two sisters, Audrey Panek and Jean Peterson. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Monday, November 5, 2018, from 10 am to 11 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will form at 11 am at the funeral home for committal prayers to be said in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Poquonock at 11:30 am.
