Condolence From: DAVID pLEASANTON
Condolence: I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY SYMPATHY FOR THE LOSS OF Mr. Zocco. My father ,Norman Pleasanton, was also in the 450th Bomb Group in Italy on a B 24 during WW II. Maybe they even knew each other. I have the utmost respect for all the men who served. My Dad loved going to the reunions of the 450th and would try to go every year.
I don't know if you are aware that the 450th Bomb Group has a very nice website with much information and pictures about all their experiences. I even looked up your fathers name in it today .
I lost my Dad in 2000 so I know how sad you must feel. The memories of the 450th are being carried on by the families and children of all the members. If you aren't aware of the 450th website feel free to contact me and I will give you the address. All my respect to Mr. Zocco. Sincerely... David Pleasanton Rocky Hill Ct.
