Patricia “Patty” (Norris) Morton, 76, of Windsor Locks passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Born on July 2, 1940, in Holyoke Mass. Daughter of late John and Marguerite (Martin) Norris of Holyoke, Mass. Patty was the beloved wife of the late Farrel Morton. She is survived by her sons, Robert Morton and his wife, Linda, of Suffield, Patrick Morton and his wife, Sue, of South Windsor, her daughter Barbara Sternburg and her late husband, Bob, of Sharon Mass., and her brother John Norris and his wife, Vivianne, of Birmingham, Ala. Grandmother to Chelsea Cheatham and husband, Derrick, Susan Morton, Mallory Morton, Kyle Morton, Megan Morton, Lillian Sternburg, Arianna Sternburg and Morgan Sternburg, and great-grandmother to Leiliana Cheatham. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. Patty was very active in the Enfield Senior Center and enjoyed the many trips and activities they have. She also volunteered at Johnson Memorial Hospital and was involved in Meals on Wheels. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones and especially family gatherings at Swifts Beach and St. Patrick’s Day. Patty will be dearly missed. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will gather on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Patty’s memory may be made to the Enfield Senior Center, 299 Elm Street, Enfield, CT 06082.
