Emma M. (Lemelin) Kall-Mele, 71, of Stafford Springs passed away peacefully Saturday, August 5, 2017. She was born May 12, 1946 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Jerome and Emma Lemelin. Emma was a homemaker but her true joy in life was tending to her garden. She was a lover of nature, had a passion for animals of all kinds and nurtured many back to health. Emma is survived by her loving husband, Michael Mele of Stafford Springs; her two sons, Richard Kall and his partner, Carrie Bemis of Burlington and Jeffrey Kall of Plainville; two beloved grandchildren, Cassandra Kall and Spencer Kall; and a brother-in-law, Mark Mele and his wife, Laura. Emma was predeceased by a step-son, Michael Mele. Calling hours in remembrance of Emma's life will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main Street (Route 190), Somers, CT 06071.
