John P. Anderson, 80 husband of the late Audrey (Cook) Anderson entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the Suffield House. John was born in Hartford, CT and lived most of his life in Springfield prior to moving to Suffield where he has resided for a short time. He enjoyed playing Bridge and Pool at the Longmeadow and Enfield Senior Centers. He is survived by several children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There are no calling hours. A funeral service for John will be celebrated on Thursday, January 4,2018, at 1 pm at the First Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1118 Sumner Ave., Springfield, MA 01118. Burial will be held convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of John may be made to either the Enfield or Longmeadow Senior Centers.
