Macks Moran, at the age of 8, was carried lovingly in the arms of angels to Heaven Thanksgiving day, Nov. 22, 2018. He passed at Boston Children's Hospital surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with Niemann-Pick Type C Disease. The strength he showed throughout his illness rivaled the strength of superheroes, even Batman, his most favorite. Macks had the greatest smile in the universe and was full of love for his family, especially his brother and sister. He will be forever missed and remembered by his mother Laura Thompson of Enfield, his brother, Jacob Thompson, his sister, Skyla Thompson; his maternal grandfather, Frank Thompson of Enfield; two aunts, Sarah Thompson of River Falls, WI, Rebecca Frazier and her husband Shaun of Liberty, NY; four cousins, Mylez and Ariana Frazier, and Matthew and Irene Thompson; his paternal grandmother, Diane Newsam-Moran of Enfield; paternal grandfather, Roger Moran and his wife Laurie of Enfield; his paternal great grandmother, Kitty Newsam of Enfield; an uncle, John Moran, and Aunt, Allie Moran; and his father Ryan Moran. Macks was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Linda Thompson who will joyfully hug and kiss him once again when they are reunited together.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 28, 2018 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield. (Please meet at Church). Committal will follow at Hazardville Cemetery.
