Robert H. Gardiner, 93, of Enfield, beloved husband to Laurie (Steiger) Gardiner, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, in the comfort of his home. Robert was the son of the late Jeramihia and Florence May (Ferguson) Gardiner. He was a long time resident of Enfield, CT. Robert was an avid wood worker, an animal lover and enjoyed playing golf. In addition to his wife of 44 years, Laurie, Robert is survived by three sons, Robert Gardiner, Jr. of IA, William Gardiner of CT, and John Gardiner of CT; and a daughter, Deborah Gardiner-Patton of AR. Services have been entrusted to Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels. There will be no visitation hours and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in memory of Robert may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
