Annette (Licitra) Ceniglio, age 74, of Suffield, CT passed away at home on Friday, October 19, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her loving husband Gerald "Jerry" was by her side every step of the way. Annette was born March 26, 1944, in Hartford, CT to James and Antoinette Licitra. She attended East Hartford High School where she met and fell in love with her husband. They married on October 2, 1965, and recently celebrated 53 years of marriage. Annette's passion and delight were her family. She loved family vacations, especially Disney World, shopping and coffee with her sisters and sister-in-law and hosting Sunday dinners and Christmas. Her greatest joy was raising her three children, and spending time with her grandchildren. Annette leaves behind her devoted husband Jerry, her two sisters Loretta Martocchio and Linda Schofield, her sister-in-law Joan Polo, her son Gerald and his wife Anna Ceniglio, her daughter Natalie and her husband, Kurt Swan, her daughter Deanna and her husband Karl Ourand, her daughter-in-law Colene Ceniglio, and her seven grandchildren, Megan, Camryn, Caitlin, Haley, Samantha, Renee and Marshall. She was predeceased by her grandson Connor in 2003. There are no calling hours and funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Annette's wish is that donations be made to The Connor Swan Memorial Fund, 61 Colonial Dr., Somers, CT 06071 to help with the beautification and up keep of her grandson's playground "Connor's Place".
