Obituary for Ronald J Gregory Sr.

Ronald J. Gregory, 81, of Enfield, beloved husband of the late Mary (Bourque) Gregory peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Parkway Pavillion. He was born in Willimantic, son of the late Steven Gregory and Evelyn (Kelley) Gregory. Ronald proudly served his country in various branches of the military over a span of 32 years. He was actively involved in a number of volunteer organizations, including the Broad Brook Volunteer Fire Dept, Adult Daycare of Enfield, and Enfield Loaves and Fishes. In 2016, Ronald received the Enfield Volunteer of the Year award from Gov Malloy. He was a member and Past Master of the Oriental Evergreen Masonic Lodge. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and sang in the church choir. He also sang in a barbershop quartet, was a member of the German Club and Mustache Club, and was an avid chef. Ronald is survived by his children; Brian and his wife June of South Windsor, and Ronald Gregory, Jr. of Enfield; his grandchildren, Ryan, Alec, Megan, Logan, Peyton, and Kaiden; his sister, Pam Lovell of NC, and his lifelong friend Glenn. In addition to his late wife, Ronald was predeceased by his brother, Steven Gregory, Jr. His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 26, from 5 to 7 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10 am at Grace Episcopal Church, 44 Old Ellington Road, Broad Brook. Please meet at the church.
