Arthur L. "Art" Archambault, 81, of Stafford Springs, CT loving husband of Elizabeth "Betty Ann” (Romano) Archambault, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Art was born June 22, 1937, in Springfield, MA the son of the late Arthur and Marie (Goff) Archambault. Art proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Art retired in 2000 from Hallmark Cards after 20 years. He was a member of the Scantic Valley Antique Engines Club, longtime member of the Pomfret Rod & Gun Club, the Somers Amvets, the Buck-Dubiel Post American Legion #101 of Somers. Art was known as "Mr. Fix it", if it was broken he could fix it. He enjoyed working on his tractor, tinkering with gas engines and took great pride in his 1972 GMC. In addition to his wife, Betty Ann he is also survived by three children, Kenneth Archambault, of Idaho, Linda Janiak and her husband, John of FL, and Debora Archambault of Stafford; a daughter -in-law, Bonnie Archambault of Ashford; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Janiak, Devon Bresnahan and her husband, Ryan, Arthur and Tiffany Archambault and Jonny Janiak; great-granddaughter, Aria Bresnahan; a brother, Dennis Archambault of FL; his four legged friend, Bailey and many nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by a son, Arthur L. Archambault; his siblings, Edward Archambault, Sandra Wagner, and Irene Parrow. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Friday, November 23, 2018, from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., (Route 190) Somers. A funeral service for Art will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 am. Burial with military honors will be held in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial contributions in Art's memory may be made to the John A. DeQuattro Community Cancer Center, 73A Haynes Street Manchester, CT 06040 or to the CT Humane Society, 701Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
