Sue Justice, 72, of Enfield, wife of the late Danny Justice, passed away Friday Jan. 11, 2019 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Pikeville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Marie (Belcher) Burke. Raised in Kentucky, she lived in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Connecticut residing in Enfield for the past 15 plus years. Sue was a loving and generous person who adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. They share fond memories of pancake breakfasts, making up stories together, and nights spent watching movies while snuggled up with her and eating snacks their parents didn't allow. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows. Sue retired after 23 years working at Allied Community Services where she was loved by her clients and loved and respected by her coworkers and staff. She is survived by two children, Jennifer Keenan-Jolie and her husband Matthew Jolie of Southwick, MA, and Danny E. Justice, Jr. and his wife Dorie of Enfield, two brothers, Larry Burke and his wife Janice of Blytheville, AR, Ken Burke and his wife Lorraine of Black Canyon, AZ, eight grandchildren, Dylan, Elizabeth, and Katie; Daniel, Rachel, and Aaron; Stevilyn and Allie. She also leaves three great grandchildren. Her family and friends from near and far will miss her dearly. Besides her husband, Sue was predeceased by a son, Marc Justice, and a sister, Lorna Burke.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wed., Jan. 16, 2019 at Hazardville Cemetery in Enfield. There are no calling hours.
