Obituary for Thomas J. Cuscovitch

Thomas J. Cuscovitch, 79, of North Carolina, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, January 12, 2019. He was born in Stafford, CT, the loving son of the late Charles and Malvina (Crochetiere) Cuscovitch. Thomas was a member of Ironworkers Local Union 15. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed cheering on his favorite team, the New York Yankees. Thomas was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Cuscovitch. He is survived by his three children, Kimberly Rabbeni and her husband, Peter of Cary, NC, Tomilee Bengston of Broad Brook, CT, and Tracy Cuscovitch of Hinesville, GA; two brothers, James Cuscovitch of Suffield, CT and Robert Cuscovitch of Enfield, CT; a sister, Carole Cosgrove of Enfield, CT; nine grandchildren, Deanna Rabbeni of Orlando, FL, Alexander Rabbeni of Cary, NC, Joe McCallister of Chicopee, MA, Toni Zanks and her husband, Joe of Manchester, Shannon Bengston and her fiance, Brian Halgas of Windsor Locks, CT, Janay Swift of Greenville, SC, Samantha Swift of East Windsor, CT, Quenton Swift and Nathan Swift, both of Enfield, CT; and nineteen great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 4-7 for calling hours at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. A procession will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 9:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield, CT. Burial will follow at Hazardville Cemetery.
