Veverly Kay (Rayon) Brown, 67, of Enfield, CT, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at CareOne at Red Stone in East Longmeadow, MA. Veverly was born September 17, 1951, in Marion, South Carolina, the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Johnson) Rayon. Veverly was employed with Plan Administration in Enfield as an Insurance Claims Adjuster for over 30 years, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed Yoga, gardening, and daily walks with her dog. Veverly is survived by her two children, Neville Brown, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY and Ericka Rayon of Greensburg, SC; six grandchildren, LaQuea Rayon, April Rayon, Takell Graham, Kaylynn Graham, Mahlina and Kailani Brown; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Phillip and Osiris Grey Bradley; three brothers, Kenneth Rayon of New Haven, Sidney Rayon of Alabama, and James Rayon, Jr. of New Haven; two sisters, Evelyn Daniels of Enfield and Joyce Corley of New Haven. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 5:00 pm for a service in celebration of Veverly's life, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT 06082.
