Lucille A. Patterson, 94, lifelong resident of Somers, CT, entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, March 14, 2019, in the comfort of her own home. Lucille was born on January 4, 1925, the loving daughter to the late Raymond and Alice (LeDuc) Taylor. Lucille retired as a supervisor for the CT Health Department. She had many dear friends that she did extensive traveling with. She was involved with the American Legion of Somers and active in the Senior Center. Lucille loved knitting, playing bingo, and reading. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Nichols of Lakeville, and her son-in-law, Paul Nichols; a brother, James Taylor and his wife, Shirley; two grandchildren, Kate Nichols-Lathrop and Jason Nichols; six great grandchildren, Tripp, Amelia, and Lillian Nichols, and Nicholas, Lucille and Brody Lathrop; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Patterson; two brothers, William and John Taylor; two sisters, Margaret Patterson and Elizabeth Ivanicki; and two grandchildren, Paul and Erica Nichols. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for calling hours on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main Street, Somers, CT 06071. A service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Somers West Cemetery.
