Obituary for Judith Lee Page (Geer)

Judith Geer, 74, of Hartford passed away peacefully on March 17, 2019 at Manchester Manor. Judi was born in Hartford on July 11, 1944, daughter of Edward and Thelma (Palmer) Geer. She was a graduate of Woodstock Academy Class of 1961. She raised her children in the Southwood Acres section of Enfield working at Casual Corner, Raffia’s Package Store and New England Bank &Trust. Later she worked at Foxwood Casino, La Posada in West Palm Beach, FL and Crabtree and Evelyn in Woodstock, CT.
As a child, she enjoyed riding her horses on the farm. Spending time at the beach was her favorite pastime. She was active in the girls softball leagues in Enfield. She loved watching her favorite teams play: the NY Yankees and Miami Dolphins. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents and three brothers, Kenneth Geer, Robert “Skip” Geer and David Geer. She is survived by her five children and their spouses: Pamela and Scott Mountford of Ellington CT, Jeffrey and Kimberly Tingley of Somers, CT, Craig Tingley of Enfield, Andrew and Michele Tingley of Somers, CT, and Nicole (Beaudoin) and Stacy Carabelli of Wilmington NC. She is survived by her beloved sister, Vicki Favreau, Danielson CT. “Grammy J.J.” is survived by her loving grandchildren, Kayla, Jillian, and Alivia Mountford, Scott and Michael Tingley, Megan and Emma Tingley, Hunter and Abigail Carabelli, and two great-grandsons; Ari and Sheldon Auerbach, along with several nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Judi. Judi’s family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of the Immanuel House, Masonicare, St. Francis Hospital, and Manchester Manor. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 22nd, 4pm-6pm at Leete-Stevens Funeral Home, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT 06082. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
