Alicia (Juszczynski) Tomasik, 59, of Windsor Locks, CT, wife of the late Slawomir Tomasik, unexpectedly entered into Eternal Rest on September 4, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital with her family by her side. Alicia was born June 22, 1963 in Przysucha, Poland to the late Franciszek “Frank” and Janina (Dorociak) Juszczynski, immigrating to the United States that same year. She was employed by Great American Insurance Group as an underwriter where she celebrated her 38th year with the company. Alicia will be remembered most for her calming peaceful presence, kind heart, and unwavering support for all those that she cared for. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nicole Tomasik; brother Peter Juszczynski and wife Jennifer all of Windsor Locks; uncle Kazimierz Juszczynski and his wife, Irene of Meriden; and aunts Stasia Dorociak; Mary Chylak, both of Poland.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 9 to 10 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 South Elm St., Windsor Locks. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
