Alla (Katschansky) Volodzko, 89, of Wilbraham, MA, beloved wife of the late Josef Volodzko, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Daughter of the late Wetcheslaw and Elena (Volkova) Katchansky, she was born in Vladivostok, Russia on October 10, 1930. Soon after immigrating to the United States, she met her late husband Josef. They made their home in Patterson, NJ and the two were blessed with three children. Alla worked as a waitress for many years at the Bethwood Banquet facility. She was the devoted caregiver of the family, attending to the special needs of her daughter into adulthood, and both her mother and her late husband in their later years.
Alla is survived by her children, Michael Volodzko and his wife Mary of Enfield, Konstantin Volodzko and his wife Deborah of FL, and Nina Volodzko of East Longmeadow, MA; and her grandchildren, Patrick, David and Matthew. In addition to her late husband Josef, she was predeceased by her sister, Ksana Roth.
