Annette Palacko, 94, of Somers, widow of Andrew Palacko, passed away peacefully Wed. Feb.24, 2021 at Evergreen Healthcare in Stafford. Born in Green River, New Brunswick, Canada, Annette was one of 18 children of the late Paul and Olive (Martin) Michaud. She lived in Stafford Springs before moving to Somers where she lived at Woodcrest Elderly Housing for over 30 years (their longest resident). Her career involved safeguarding private businesses and the public as a Security Guard for more than 20 years before retiring.
She leaves a step-son Andrew "Fred" Palacko of Palm Beach, FL, two Grandchildren, Paul Palacko of Pompano Beach, FL and Ruthann Lofmark of Marlborough, CT. She also leaves two great grandchildren Jordan Palacko and Liv Lofmark, as well as family members of her late husband and many dear friends, especially Francine Clark and her family, who will miss her deeply.Her family wishes to especially acknowledge the medical professionals and staff at Evergreen for the wonderful care they provided for Annette.
