Obituary for Anthony Michael Guerriero Jr.

Anthony M. Guerriero, Jr., 86, lifelong resident of Enfield, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at home. Born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield on April 28, 1936, he was the son of the late Anthony Guerriero Sr. and Doris (DeMayo) Guerriero. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, being honorably discharged in 1958 as a Sergeant. He went on to work for Enfield Road Construction Co. and Della Construction Co. for 35 years before retiring. He was a member of Local 478 IUOE and was also employed as a loader instructor for the union apprentice school for 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Enfield and enjoyed traveling with his wife to Manchester, VT. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia (Bouthillier) Guerriero in 2019, as well as his brother Sebastian “Buster” Guerriero and Concetta “Connie” Angers. He leaves his 3 sons, Michael Guerriero of Enfield, Mark Guerriero and his wife Donna of Enfield, and Matthew Guerriero and his wife Meghann of Bloomfield; 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson; 5 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, from 4-7 PM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. Enfield. A Funeral Procession will gather at 9 AM on Wednesday, April 5 at the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
