Obituary for Aubrey A Miner

Aubrey Albert Miner, 84, of East Windsor, beloved husband of Linda (Turner) Miner for 48 years, entered into eternal peace, Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. The son of the late Rodman and Belva (Kenyon) Miner, Aubrey was born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island. He was drafted in the U.S. Army and served honorably.
Following his military service, Aubrey moved to Connecticut in 1957 where he was a fourth generation Tobacco Farmer. Aubrey and Linda made their home in East Windsor, where they raised their family. Aubrey ran several tobacco farms in the Connecticut Valley. He was a longtime member of the Liedertafel Singing Society – German Club, Broad Brook, CT.
Besides his wife, Aubrey is survived by his children, Debbie, Tracie, Chuck, JoAnne, Craig, Robert and their spouses. Aubrey was predeceased by a son, Michael and a brother, John. Aubrey also leaves twenty grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Aubrey leaves behind several dear friends in the Tobacco Farming community.
His family will receive friends on Friday, May 27, from 4-6 PM at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. Enfield. Services will be held privately. For online condolences, please visit www.leetestevens.com
