Betty Caronna, 98, of Enfield, wife of the late Anthony Caronna, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at her home. She was born on May 29, 1922 in Springfield and raised there, before moving to the Enfield community. Among Betty's favorite pastimes were playing Bingo and visits to the Casino. Betty could always be found helping out at the Caronna family business in the Thompsonville section of Enfield. She is survived by her son, Francis Caronna, her son, Anthony Caronna and his wife, Kathleen, and her daughter, Mary Caronna, all of Enfield. She also leaves 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Anthony, she was predeceased by her son, Joseph M. Caronna. The Caronna family wishes to send out loving Thanks to the staff of Trinity Health of New England Hospice, especially , Trish. Private services and burial will be held in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery. Betty's family has suggested that expressions of sympathy may be in the form of memorial donations to The Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Joseph's Residence, 1365 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105
